I have 2.5 more modules to complete the master of education programme in CUHK.  Well, some of my coursemates require normally 2 years to complete and few of them simply spend 1.5 years.  This is my 3rd year of study and I don't want to extend it to the 4th year, in which I have to finish it the latest.

I enjoy studying, especially in education.  More than that, studying in the CUHK is enjoyment.  The campus is so "green" and relaxing.  I still remember the days when I had modules to attend on Saturday mornings.  I took the bus, getting off in main campus, then I enjoyed a delighted breakfast.  The most enjoyable moment then came afterwards: walked down from main campus to the classroom, where was located in Chung Chi.  It required around 10 minutes walk, but the path was like a heaven.  You just listened to voices from insects and various types of birds, no cars, no people walking around.

Suddenly, I got an insight.  The insight came from the HSSC: colleagues are encouraged to obtain a doctoral degree in the long-run, in order to match with the school's development.  I am not very much interested in studying a doctoral business degree, but in education.  EdD is much more attractive to me.

Suddenly (again), I came up with an idea: studying a DBA in three years' time.  Druing the period, I probably worked 2/3 or even 0.5 teacher load, so that I can still squeeze time for the study.  It's doctoral degree and it's no easy job.  But the most important thing will be, when I need to attend the oral defence for my thesis, I can go to the campus directly, with my family.  That means I can enjoy a good trip with my family and at the same time, working hard with my thesis, if possible.

Will it happen?  I searched for a DBA degree from Heriot-Watt University where is lcoated in Edinburgh, Scotland.  If one day, I decide to study there through distance learning, and then take the oral defence there in the campus in Edinburgh, why not going with my family, recalling our good memory there more than 10 years ago, with my pretty wife.  Life in memory there is still so clear and fresh.

Will it come true? God knows.
