My son Xin Pei
I have to admit that my son, Xin Pei has a special character. He has his own favourites towards a lot of things, and seldom changes the preference. He is left-handed, using his left hand for most of the things. His emotion comes quickly, and sometimes vigorously. He's smart, and sometimes tells lies with a lovely smile. Though he's lying, it's not easy for me to punish him, especially when he gives you a lovely and handsome smile.
He's handsome, yes, but also very timid. He never sees somebody directly, but is improving. He's weak also in differentiating colours, according to his good visual arts teacher from The Big Apple, but now, I find him gradually improving. He can differentiate some difficult colours and dares to speak out the colours directly.
As a father, sometimes I lose my temper towards him. I beat him several times and sometimes, was quite rude to him. But I really found that being rude and vigorously to him is useless, which in turn, more reactive and vigorous from him. Instead, being gentle to him is very helpful and useful.
Our friend Emily, who's counselor at work, claims he's not an easy child to raise. She observes him for an evening where we spent a good night at her hourse. Well, I admit it true but nothing is 100% sure. God never promise us a good and easy life, but He promise us to have him lead the way along. That's more than enough.
Xin Pei got his name Gordon. He likes listening to Thomas the stories but now, not anymore but the Superman (the Japanese one).
He really likes his sister, Sammi. I and Yee Fun really hope, and believe they'll be good siblings, with the youngest, Xin Ming, that even though one day, we two go back to God's place, they can still live cohesively, and peacefully, and with perseverance.
What I have to do is to try best keep myself in good health, making myself not so emotional. That's important.
